Rays of hope is to navigate the lasers like a beam of light while being surrounded by a web of laser beams.

Rules and Regulations

  • Rule 1: Individual participation.
  • Rule 2: No external resources allowed.
  • Rule 3: Time limit of 60 minutes.

Round 1:

  • Each team will get the same Laser gun and the same number of mirrors.
  • Teams must ensure that the laser rays travel the longest distance with the help of the given mirrors.
  • There will be a time limit, and teams must complete the given task in that time. The team that takes the minimum time will qualify for the next round.
  • Final decisions will be made by the event coordinators.

Round 2:

  • Participants will have to make different shapes given by the event coordinators/volunteers with the help of the given laser and mirrors.

Other Rules:

  • Participants must complete the task in the given time and within the allotted chances.
  • Participants from any branch or stream can participate in this event.
  • Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants. Participants must register as a team.
  • Participants must not possess any mirrors or any other reflective smooth materials during the event.
  • No use of the internet (via PC or mobile) is allowed during the event.
  • On-time availability of participants is essential. The schedule will be given in advance to every registered participant.
  • Decisions made by the jury will be considered as "FINAL".
  • No material except pens or pencils is needed from participants during the event.
  • The number of rounds in the event will be decided based on the entries and will be informed on the day of the event.
