Rules and Regulations

Event Structure

Relay Coding consists of two levels that test programming skills and coordination between two participants.

Round 1: Preliminary Round (Blind Coding - Monitor OFF)

  • Statement will be provided at the time of the event.
  • Platform: Ubuntu
  • Tools: Jupyter Notebook, Gedit, VS Code
  • Languages: C / Python
  • Time Limit: 20 minutes
  • First 10 minutes: First participant codes with the computer screen OFF.
  • Next 10 minutes: Second participant completes the code, fixing any errors.

Round 2: Final Round (Monitor ON)

  • Statement will be provided at the time of the event.
  • Platform: Ubuntu
  • Tools: Jupyter Notebook, Gedit
  • Languages: C / Python
  • Time Limit: 25 minutes
  • First 15 minutes: First participant codes with the monitor ON.
  • Next 10 minutes: Second participant completes the code.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Coordination between team members
  • Problem completion level
  • Logical approach

General Rules

  • Participants must have sound knowledge of C / Python programming.
  • Participants should report at the venue 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Internet usage is strictly prohibited.
  • Any rule violation by any team member will lead to disqualification.
  • The decision of the event organizers is final and cannot be contested.

Number of Participants

Each team must consist of 2 participants.
