Rules and Regulations
- Exclusively for Diploma & UG students.
- Only one poster per team is allowed for presentation.
- All lettering and diagrams should be large enough to be read from a minimum of 2 feet.
- The official language for the poster will be English.
- Poster Size: Maximum 36”x48” (Printed or A2-Hand Made).
- All participants will receive participation certificates.
- Marks will be based on theme, creativity, efforts, scientific content, and presentation.
- The decision of the judges/committee will be final.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
A Poster presentation for a Technical Event should include the following key elements:
- Title: The title of your poster should be clear and concise, summarizing the topic you will be presenting.
- Abstract: An abstract (maximum 300 words, Times New Roman, size 12).
- Introduction: A brief introduction explaining the purpose and significance of your research or project.
- Objectives: Clearly state the objectives of your work. What problem are you trying to solve? What are the goals of your research?
- Methods: Describe the methods you used to conduct your research or complete your project. Include enough detail for the audience to understand how you carried out your work.
- Results: Present your findings clearly, using tables, graphs, and other visual aids to convey your results.
- Discussion: Discuss the implications of your findings, how they relate to the broader field, and any limitations or weaknesses of your study.
- Conclusion: Summarize your key findings and the overall significance of your work.
- References: Provide a list of sources used in your research or project.
It's important to make your poster visually appealing and easy to read. Use clear, legible fonts and colors that are easy on the eyes. Include visual aids like charts, graphs, and images to help convey your information. Make sure to proofread your poster carefully.
